Beach patterns

I love patterns. I love drawing and colouring them and I really enjoy things like pattern books, fabric design and graphic art. In fact I can't get enough of them.

But in the end I think the best patterns are made by Mother Nature. Here's some she made at the beach just so I could take a picture of them and share them with my blogsy people.

Mother Nature is cool like that. ;-)

Lijkt me best een uitdaging. Hopelijk heb je snel weer je 'mojo' terug. Grappig he, hoe soms onverwachte dingen iets doen oplichten in je hoofd?

  3. It is amazing what speed and wind can do to sand and soil at the beach.

    1. And birds, don't forget the birds! The first two pictures come from the pitter patter of hundreds of birds feet. ;-)

  4. I recognized all of those formations in the sand. Sometimes I really miss the beach. We miss you over at BAJ. I am keeping up with your blog via email though. :)

    1. Aw, thanks you Melody, I miss you ladies too. But I must say it's a lot more stress free without all those groups and stuff to keep up with. Send them my love.

  5. I love it when I stumble across a new wonderful place in Blogland! I am happy to see I am not the only one who has a small stash of art things in her back pack at all times (yes, even at work) and feels lost with out the possibilities they hold... Ahhh, and I smile to see your larger supply for trips further from home... Lots of fun here, why do I enjoy seeing pictures of art supplies so much? I just do. :))))) *waving hello* from across the big Pond! :)))

    1. Welcome to my blog Melody and thank you for your kind words. I hope you stick around. And looking at art supplies and studio spaces is one of my favorite things to do too. It just makes me swoon. ;-)

  7. Oh the world is so beautiful.
I'm just back from a walk through the snow - deep and drifting in these parts.
Lovely patterns here too but....oh how I long for sun.... and sand.
It's been a long cold spell.

I love these shots. The final one is something I have never seen before. Lovely.

Thanks for taking me to the beach today.
